We are excited to officially announce the opening of Blue By Night— the Rosemary Beach Inn Hotel Lobby + Wine Bar, now open Thursday through Saturday from 5 – 9 pm.
Blue By Night is our invitation to enjoy Rosemary Beach ‘inn’ a new light– a coastal wine bar tucked beneath the stars, where time slows, conversation lingers, and the evening finds its own kind of magic.
The best way to describe the reopening of Blue By Night for the Rosemary Beach Inn — and for myself as Innkeeper — is an unexpected, full-circle moment. My parents first opened Blue By Night in 2001, as the finer-dining, dinner-time alter ego of the Summer Kitchen. My first job was going to work with them, as their dishwasher, when I was 11 years old. What it means to have the opportunity to reopen it 25 years later, with my own spin, is hard to put into words.
Some places just have a way of staying with you.
Over the years, I have come and gone. But the Summer Kitchen + the Rosemary Beach Inn— and Rosemary Beach— have always been home. As I sit and reflect back on the times I have worked in the family business, there is one theme that sticks out that has kept me coming back: community.
My fondest memories ‘at the restaurant’ are the ones that happened at the end of shift— when staff gathered on the front porch to share stories over a shifty. Or when friendly faces came by on a slow day, and we would play games to make the time go by faster.
Blue By Night is meant to be a space for gathering. For sharing stories and making memories in real life, in real time. To be a watering hole— where folks can come together for a round of drinks, play some games, and enjoy good old-fashioned human interaction.
This is a moment in our story when past and present converge, as history and evolution write the next chapter for The Rosemary Beach Inn. Thank you for following along as it continues and, like fine wine, only gets better with time.
Cheers!
Wish you were here…

Cameron, Innkeeper
